Outdoor learning

Playing outdoors is fun and access to the outdoor environment is fundamental to children’s health, well-being and learning.  Therefore regardless of the weather, we offer the children, on a daily basis, the opportunity to investigate and discover their natural surroundings through activities in our large garden areas, and in the surrounding school grounds at both sites.

Led by our Level 3 qualified Forest School Leaders our outdoor learning sessions develop the children’s sense of well-being and the challenging yet achievable activities increase children’s confidence and self esteem, as well as supporting all areas of the Early Years Curriculum.
